Roger
Goff is a seasoned business attorney, with over 20 years of experience
in law and business. In addition to his experience as an attorney, he has
been an executive, an entrepreneur, a board member and an advisor to
hundreds of companies.

A
native of Southern California, Roger Goff received his undergraduate
degree in Communication Studies from UCLA in 1979. While
in college, he worked in television and radio, spending time at CNN, KABC
television, KFWB radio, KLAV radio in Las Vegas, and a variety of free
lance jobs. Following graduation, Roger switched to the advertising
field, working in the media department of Foote, Cone & Belding,
then as an account executive at an agency specializing in broadcast
advertising and promotion, and finally owning and operating his own retail
marketing company. In between, he completed the Professional
Guitarist program at Musician's Institute in Hollywood, and spent a
couple years performing in the clubs and studios of L.A.
Roger
then attended Loyola Law School, graduating with honors in 1987. While in
law school, Roger received American Jurisprudence awards for outstanding
achievements in Contract Law, Mediation and Mental Disability Law.
He also served as Executive Editor of the Loyola International Law
Journal, and was made a member of the prestigious Order of the Coif and
the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society.
During his final year at Loyola, Roger
accepted a position at the law firm of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler &
Marmaro, where he began his career as an attorney. At Jeffer,
Mangels, Roger worked in the corporate department handling a wide
variety of transactions from $1 million to $100 million. His
experience ranged from mergers and acquisitions to private securities
offerings to more complex issues of corporate law.
In
1989, Roger launched his own firm. Since
that time, Goff Law Corporation has helped hundreds of companies and
individuals identify and pursue business opportunities, as well as
solving their most challenging legal problems. The
work ranges from business acquisitions, to financing,
producing and distributing feature films, to
establishing new companies and ventures in entertainment
and related industries.
